Juggling a demanding career and family leaves little time for much else. One of the first things to get deprioritized is exercise. Yet, we know that the stress caused by one’s job can be mitigated with regular exercise. So how do we make this all work??

I recently discovered HIIT – high-intensity interval training – not something completely new but is getting more press. I am all about efficiency so this caught my eye. Studies show that 2.5 hours of HIIT is equivalent to 10 hours of steady cardio exercise. This means that I have a choice. I can choose to:

Jog for 1 hour per day 5 days per week
OR
HIIT for 30 minutes 2 to 3 days per week
…and get the SAME RESULT!

You don’t have to be a math major to decide which is the best option for the busy professional.

If you think that 10 minutes of exercise won’t help, think again. Try this efficient work-out method, HIIT, and see how you feel in 12 weeks. My experience was a noticeable difference in my appearance in just 3 weeks.

To make it even simpler for you, I found a great app to help track the workout intervals. You can download “Tabata Timer” for free. No gym needed and a free automatic timer? What are you waiting for?
